The Philippines has a national football team
The name’s Azkals, and they’re here to redeem
Filipinos and half-breeds unite
Together, they represent the country and fight
Don’t judge the team by its players
One thing’s for sure, they’re not cheaters
What they need is support from everyone
Just like plants need air, water, and sun
The Azkals are already gaining recognition
They just need a little more ammunition
The government should fix its priorities
Even great things come from minorities
Football is a well-known sport everywhere
We shouldn’t just stick to basketball and boxing, to be fair
The Azkals have ignited the fire
It’s up to us to take the lead and inspire
